“The Preacher sought to find words of delight, and uprightly he wrote words of truth. The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings; they are given by one Shepherd.” Eccl. 12

I’m a Reformed Christian, husband to the beautiful Sophia Poon, and member of St John’s Anglican Church in Sydney Australia.
During the week, I work as a musculoskeletal physical therapist. In between those times I enjoy reading and writing, occasionally stepping out to pen some thoughts down. This site is dedicated to those musings, which serve to express how I see God and his world, but more importantly to edify those who happen to read them. I believe that writing is a way of seeing, and as I write I’ve noticed that I’m able to grow in understanding God and others. So as John Piper says, to write beautifully is to see beautifully. I’m hoping that this site will help me and others to do just that.
My main passion is to explore what it means to love God with all our minds. I think that means to think God’s thoughts after him in what is good, true, and beautiful in relation to him and this world. Of course, I believe the only way of doing is through the lens of Christian scripture. Therefore true reason is “faith seeking understanding”.
I hope Christians will be nourished and encouraged to love God better with their minds. I hope non-Christians will realize that our minds were made for him. Lastly I hope that God would be most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.
